The moment I saw this new fantasy by Frost Kay, I immediately purchased it without even reading the synopsis as I loving own all her Armenian Fueds series in hardbacks and boy was I right to place my trust in Frost. Twisted Kingdoms is a new world full of creatures and species anyone who reads the genre would recognize and yet it's all original. Even Tempest, while being a strong and capable soldier with fighting skills to envy is not a carbon copy of Sage from A.F and is completely original in her own right. Twisted Kingdoms explores greed and depravity as well as testing ones morals with the hardest choices.
