I had the first iteration of the Truengine and they were ok to good, but when I had an issue with them and sent them back I noticed the next model had been released. It looked better, more ergonomic and I'm glad to report that looks matched expectation. A much nicer fit in my ear, same clear quality sound. Probably a bit lacking for anyone who needs thumping bass, but I listen to a lot of podcasts and I prefer a more flat response from my headphones.
I've had no connectivity issues, no quirks I have had to work around, they just work straight out of the box. My own complaint is that using the button does require enough force that you end up pushing them into your ear a bit, but I don't tend to skip tracks or change things to much. Also I've not had the best experience with the mic for phonecalls, but I wasn't expecting it given the price and location of it.
Would buy again if I lost them or if they were stolen. Great bang for the buck and then some.
