We bought some Wahl corded clippers for much the same price for home haircuts during lockdown and my sons complained about it pulling from the first cut. It was also a bit messy to clean and needed oil. These, by contrast, have given is cordless freedom to do it outside, they don’t pull, there are less clip-on length combs to be packed away and maintenance is much easier (rinse with no oiling).
Yet another quality Philips shaver - if only they’d start using replaceable batteries so their devices weren’t throwaway after a few years. It’s getting to the point where I’ll boycott them for this as it’s ridiculous that they have to be thrown away when they’re functioning perfectly. I can live with it for computerised tech (iPads, laptops etc) as they’re not exactly at the top of their game by the time the batteries die - but a shaver / clipper still is. Ridiculous.
